We believe

that God created and sustains the universe and every thing in it.

Job 38:4 ‘Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you understand.'

The Bible sets out the plan that God is working to that will reunite our relationship with Him

2 Timothy 3:16 'All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.'

Jesus is God's only son who was sent about 2,000 years ago. He fulfilled Gods plan and became our saviour. He was a preacher who lived in Israel. He died on a cross and took away all our sins.

1 John 4:9 'This is how God showed His love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.'

Because Jesus was sinless, He became our perfect sacrifice and God raised him from the dead, gave him eternal life and has been made our saviour and head of God's world wide church.

1 Peter 2:24 ‘He himself bore our sins’ in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; ‘by his wounds you have been healed.’ For ‘you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.'

We become united with Jesus by believing in our hearts, confessing with our lips that Jesus is our Lord and Saviour and then committing our lives to Him in baptism.

Galatians 3:27 ‘For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.

Jesus has made it possible for God's love, mercy and grace to remove all our sins and so we are faultless in God's eyes.

Jude :24 'To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy – to the only God our Saviour be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and for evermore! Amen.'

Jesus is working in our lives every day.

Matthew 28:19 'Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’

Jesus will return and establish God's unending kingdom, here on earth with all who wait and watch for his coming, putting all their trust in God and his son Jesus.

Matthew 11:27 ‘All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.'

‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.’
